The Software departments have developed a specialized system called the Owl (Ugla). The website for the Owl is www.ugla.hi.is and can also be found through the University’s main web www.hi.is

The Owl is in continuous a development and serves many different tasks. Each member of HÍ has his own interface. From the Owl a member can access all his files from the network drive/ storage, information and files for courses, keep track of discussions and notices, get information regarding services and approach applications for all services e.g. wireless Internet, username and the Internet for Student housing.
