Graduation and access to RHÍ's service
All graduating students with a username containing 3 or 4 letters and numbers get to keep their mail address and access to Ugla.
Students who keep their mail address can therefore make a filter in the webmail which forwards all University mails to another account. This can be done by logging on to the webmail where you choose Squirrel mail and then choose filters and "Add a rule".
Note! Choose to "Keep a local copy as well" in order to keep a copy of the forwarded mail.
Access to Ugla is possible in a way students can see all the courses taken, grades and more things related to their former study. Service in Ugla, like application for Internet access, on the other hand will no longer be available after graduation. The same goes for other services provided by RHÍ, like the network drives/ storages. Therefore it is important to take a copy of allt the files you would like to keep before the access closes. Blog sites on Uni.hi.is and blog.hi.is will close as well.
Access to Internet including ADSL service closes a few weeks after graduation.
