When a new employee starts working at The University (HÍ) the office manager or the head of the department needs to apply for the new so he or she can get an access to RHÍ’s service. The applier needs to log on to the Owl and go to: computing service-> users-> registration.

The IT Help desk on Háskólatorg offers various basic services e.g. regarding e-mail, Internet connection, common errors and more. The IT Help is open from 8-16 every weekday. Employees of the University can request a detailed service from RHÍ, this service happens through service contracts which most of the departments have made with RHÍ or through "General work requests" in Ugla. It is usually the office manager or the head of the department that submits the request.
